About Me
Mental health care that respects your story.
Professional, steady, and built on trust—not judgment.
I’m Lisa Utt, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Guiding Psychiatry. I provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive therapy-based care for children (8+), teens, college students, and adults across Kansas.
I’ve worked in healthcare for over 25 years, and my experience has taught me this: people do better when their care is personal and practical. That means clear explanations, safe prescribing, and consistent follow-up. No rushed appointments. No confusing treatment plans. No being left on your own.

A Safe and Supportive Practice
I believe people do their best when they feel safe, heard, and understood. Treatment here is collaborative, honest, and respectful. I meet people where they are and help them move toward stability and confidence—at a pace that works.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be glad to work with you.
